 My name is Souk Oun and I have been working in the
technology industry for over 8 years. It is difficult to say
what is impossible in life, but life is full of dreams,
challenges and hard work. With a career minded focus, I am
continually developing my skills through professional
experience, continual networking and higher education.
As an experienced and loyal individual, I have gained
significant experience working as a Project Manager and
Business Analyst. Throughout my wide-ranging experience, I
have worked on several initiatives requiring ongoing project
and account management, marketing strategies, business development, sales
engineering, application development, business analysis, and technical solutions.
I am continually seeking opportunities to foster my
professional growth. My experience and understanding over
the past years in the Information Technology industry has
provided me with the essential skills and knowledge to be successful.
Background
I was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba. In
1998, I graduated from Crocus Plains Secondary High School
with an honorable reputation and held in high regard. I was
awarded with their highest merit award and a double
certificate in Business and Academics. With my high school
diploma put aside, I began to focus on the medical industry
and later made my way to a higher education at DeVry
University Phoenix (Calgary Campus). After relocating to
Calgary, Alberta, I completed my Bachelor of Science in
Computer Information Systems, while simultaneously working
full time to obtain industry experience and develop my
professional career in the technology industry. My next
challenge will be to obtain the experience required to
successfully complete my MBA and various technology based
certifications.
